No Talk Homework

In Global Learning we thought hard about the jobs that men and women do. We thought if a nurse could be a man and if a mechanic could be a woman. Then we thought about what we want to be when we grow up. This week in P.E. we were practising for sports day and we learnt javelin and long jump. Today, in maths we made our very own Top Trump card about ourselves including facts about how tall we are, how heavy our shoe is and how much water our group of four, could put in a big bottle in one minute. We played different Top Trump card games to practise ordering numbers. In English today we wrote a booklet about the similarities and differences between children washing their hands in this country and other countries. We also thought about if children across the world are all treated the same. We have been reading a book called, There's a Boy Just Like Me. We made puppets of the two boys in the story and compared their lives. We wrote our sentences on the back of our puppets. In maths, we have been learning about capacity (ml), mass (g) and height (cm). In R.E. we thought about how God felt, when he healed ten men and only one came back to say thank you.

Have an incredible half term holiday!
