Talk homework: Explain how you think a volcano erupts. Mathletics has been set.

In maths we have been learning how to times numbers by 0, 1 and 6. We have also had a go at shape times shape problems. https://nrich.maths.org/5714

In PE we have been practising our hockey skills and we have been playing hockey matches. On Wednesday we had both classes together, there were 8 teams and we played each other. Some of year 4 and 5 got to go and play a football match on Thursday and we unfortunately lost 5:2.

In DT we have started to build our Iron Man and we are going to carry on building on Monday (remember your recycling for it).

In science we have been learning about our ear. We watched a short video of how our ear works and we have learnt some new parts of ear, like the bones are called the ossicles. We also did a poster about our ear. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMXoHKwWmU8

Our learner of week is Noah.
