In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 22nd November

Talk Homework: Look at home to find something that is alive, dead and something that was never alive. Remember paper was alive once!

Today, Charlie has enjoyed making a Cops and Robbers newspaper report. Joshua has enjoyed our spelling sessions this week because we have learned words ending in le. In maths Riley has enjoyed adding tens and ones when adding a 2 digit number to a 1 digit number. We had to think carefully because our ones made a whole new ten! Today Freya has enjoyed doing her first timed Big Maths Beat That challenge. Everyone did very well! This week, we have been rehearsing our play and now everyone has a part. Please learn your lines this weekend before rehearsals next week. This week Ellie enjoyed reading our class book "The Boy Who Grew Dragons". Ellie enjoyed the book because she really liked Flicker the baby dragon. Today in Mind Up Lucie liked concentrating on inhaling and exhaling. We watched to see if our breath moved a piece of cotton wool. In arithmetic Jack has been learning his 4 x tables. In R.E. we studied pictures of the Nativity scene from other countries. We found the same Nativity characters but they all looked a bit different. This week Ella-May has enjoyed learning about our brains in Mind Up.

Have a great weekend
