Friday 11th October

Talk Homework: Chat about our Power of Reading book - would you recommend it?

Maths:  Make sure you take a look at the new games in your area.  Spend at least 30 minutes playing games to help you revise work you have done.

Hello!

This week in Global Learning we have all enjoyed making cartoon strips to show how we understand climate change. Also, we researched about zoos in preparation for our debate next week. Lots of us a have split opinions so it should be interesting!

On Friday, we did paired work in guided reading instead of our normal no-talking independent work.  There are now two different reading groups - one on Wednesday with Mrs Smith reading ’Tom’s Midnight Garden’ and one with Mrs Forshaw reading ‘Holes’.

Our Power of Reading book, ‘The Last Wild’, is getting more and more exciting as the half term is progressing. Our book is giving us lots of different activities such as writing our own Haiku poems.

Have a good weekend!
