Your talk homework over half term is to talk to your family including Mummys, Daddys, Grandparents to see what they can remember about Buckden in the 'olden days'. If they have any photographs, please bring them in to share with us. We will be looking at how Buckden has changed over time, with regard to the shops and amenities in the village.

Wow, this half term has finally finished! Despite it being a seven weeker, it's absolutely flown by the children have continued to work SO hard.

This week, Arya has enjoyed making flapjacks with Mrs Dunford, as well as making her own fact file about the Victorian Workhouses. Madeline has enjoyed making flapjacks and playing with her friends. Carys loved learning our new spelling rule, drop the y, add -ied and has been super confident in this! Alfie enjoyed Maths and English this week, as well as making flapjacks and playing with James. I am so proud of how hard the children have worked this half term, they've really made some good progress in all areas of the curriculum and are definitely ready for a well-deserved break!

We look forward to having them back after the half term, to enjoy the time we have left together and to get them ready for their transition up to key stage 2!

Stay safe,
Best wishes,
