Talk Homework: Discuss what you know about the 3 sciences (biology, chemistry and physics).

This week in maths we've been learning about  symmetry in shape.

In PE we played a game of rounders with the other Year 4 class. We had lots of fun and practised our batting and throwing skills.

Today in English we have been learning about standard English, whether we use was or were in our sentences. We were also looking at tenses of verbs in our sentences. On Tuesday, we designed our own prayer from our book to put up on our English board.

Yesterday, we made a soundtrack using musical instruments for our power of reading book. We made motifs for different characters in the book and emotions.

In RE we walked to the church. We got to see what the new reverend does, all the places around the church and what they are called. We also learnt about some history of the church.

Yesterday, Year 6 did Enterprise. We got to take silver coins, and we spend the money on the stalls which Year 6 will donate to charity.

In Science, on Wednesday, we wrote up our investigation from last week. We had battery cell and a solar cell. We clipped them to a bulb, buzzer and motor. We were looking to see if there were any differences between how well using a solar cell and battery cell worked for our ciruits.
