This week the children have been continuing their work in science looking at different types of rocks and their properties. Some children participated in their first Interhouse competition and represented year 3 superbly. We have also spent some time completing our DT work looking at bookmarks and learning how to cross stitch. All the children persevered brilliantly with this.

Over half term there are no spellings to practise but we do ask that you continue with doodle maths AND doodle tables every day for a minimum of 10 mins. Please also ensure that the children are completing their Doodle assignments. These will appear on their learning zone page as a red icon.

Continue to read everyday and log your reading on BoomReader. (If you are unsure, your Boom reader login is the same as last year.) We are aware parents have been recording the books children have been reading at home and we appreciate this.
