We have had a very busy last week of half term. The children have thoroughly enjoyed maths this week where we have been learning about length and height and measuring all manner of items around school. We have looked at centimetres and metres, how to measure them and comparing and ordering items.

Skills builder has also been a big hit. We have spent the week looking at a few different skills including teamwork and staying positive. Today the children worked in their groups to do a short presentation to another class in the school. We presented to EYFS, year 4, 5 and even year 6. As you can imagine this was quite a daunting, prospect but they were truly amazing and we saw lots of them using the skill of staying positive along with their speaking skill. Excellent work year 2!
