Another busy week in year three!

We've done lots of play rehersal this week to really secure our knowledge of it before the week off. Its coming along very nicely and we're all very excited to show our adults.

In Science we have continued our investigation into skeletons, expanding our knowledge by investigating ways in which our skeletons are different. The children came up with a variety of questions to investigate such as 'who has longer leg bones, boys or girls'. They then measured each other and used a results tables to record their findings. Later in the week the children then drew a conclusion based upon their results and evaluated their investigation. We also looked at the difference between exoskeletons, endoskeletons and hydrostatic skeletons. The children found it very entertain and learned a lot in the process!

In English we have carried on looking at our book 'Why the Wales came' and have made predictions of what the rest of the book may contain.

In Maths we continued to look at multiplication and division and how we can pick out relevant information from reasoning and problem solving questions. We also completed an arithmetic quiz where we tested all the knowledge we had gained throughout the term.

We've also done a lot of work on our french this week and now know how to say 'I play the piano' as well as nine other instruments!

We hope you have a brilliant half term and we look forward to seeing you on the 26th.
