Darcey enjoyed history yesterday when we started learning about The StoneAge and we now know that we are Homo Sapiens! On Wednesday afternoon our class split into two groups and one group went to Godly Play whilst the other group continued to build our sustainable garden outside our classrooms. We planted wildflower seeds, lettuce, carrots, runner beans, peas and sunflowers to make a garden that we could either eat the produce from or attract the pollinators. In science and computing we researched safely on a search engine to answer the question, How and where do seeds form? On Wednesday morning, there was an Interhouse cross-country competition and we either went out and participated or we cheered on our friends. Xyla liked maths this week, when we continued learning about fractions and have related fractions to number lines. In English, we have started a new text called Lob. It is particularly engaging and so far it has captured our imaginations. We looked at some illustrations from the book and made predictions about what might happen.

Have a great weekend
