In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 19th April

Please make sure you are logging ALL reading on boom reader or in your paper copies. If this has not been logged 3 times your books may not change. Please make sure you are doing your numbots work too!

This week the children have loved explored their new DT project. They will be doing some exciting designing. The children did their research and had to list every fruit they could think of, which led into what makes a fruit? Where does fruit come from?

Our DT leant nicely into our Geography regarding where food comes from. The children had lots of fun making their own farms and showing what produce comes from them.

In English we have been exploring our new book (which will remain unnamed for now). The children explored the picture which was a robin on the fence. They noticed there was a lot of litter on the floor. The children have created fantastic posters about why littering is bad and how we can help our environment.

In Maths this week we have been looking at estimating in a. Number line. The children showed excellent knowledge of up to 20 on a number line and we will continue to work on numbers to 50.

If you are available we would appreciate as many adult volunteers next Friday to Buckden Towers as possible.
