Doodle maths three times a week please

This week we have been enjoying the beautiful weather and learning how to set runner bean seeds just like Grandad Will did in our CLPE book ‘Lob’. We have used what we learnt about instructional writing, to independently write a set of instructions to explain how to brush your teeth. In PSHE, we have been learning about good hygiene and how to keep our bodies clean. In maths, we have come to the end of mass and capacity and finished by learning to compare capacity and volume. In Science, we now understand that there are seven nutrients that we need from our food and we discussed by looking at three meals, which one was the odd one out, using our knowledge of nutrients. In Geography, we looked at land usage in Ireland and in History we began to learn about farming and food gathering in the Stone-Age. We also enjoyed the Book Fair this week and in Friday’s Collective Worship we shared book reviews.

Have a lovely long weekend
