Continuing on our journey around the world, we landed this week in the continent of Africa. We have explored music, animals, art, cities and countryside of this vast area. As you can see above, the children have created beautiful bright art work in the 'Tinga Tinga' style. We recreated traditional patterns first to practice what could be used to decorate the animals. 

In maths, we have been learning about sharing equally and have done this practically in many different ways, even noticing that sometimes their is a remainder. 

In PSHE we have continued talking about changes and this week focused upon reminding ourselves how we can make new friendships. We shared the story 'Meesha Makes Friends' as a basis for this discussion.
