Friday 6th June

Spellings - s pronounced as /z/ (e.g. television/usual/pleasure) and Homophones plane/plain

Reading - read and record on Boom Reader

Maths - Doodle maths (some assignments have been added this week for them to have a go at)

In English this week we have been writing our fact files about giraffes and using all the facts we found out at Woburn to help us. There has been some lovely creativity with these.

Maths we have been learning about pictograms, focusing on one picture for one item. We have practised drawing them and answering questions about them.

During our Science this week we introduced the new topic of materials and wrote down what we know already about different materials.

Our PE this week was a lovely Zumba lesson to get our bodies moving.

During PSHE we were looking at budgeting with a set amount of money. Many of the children were very good at this but some forgot to budget for their house and instead went on holiday!

In Art this week we finished our drawings of our workhouses. The children were very good at using their sketching skills to make them look as realistic as possible.

During computing the children started to create some art on the iPad, using many small dots to do this.
