In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 4th July 2025

Please ensure that your child completes 10 minutes of Doodle maths per day.

Please make sure that you bring in your PE kits for the last two weeks.

Transition week is such a special time of year. It’s like the first page of a brand-new chapter, filled with excitement, curiosity, and just a little bit of nervous energy. Whether you're moving up a year group or starting at a new school, this week is all about discovering what lies ahead and getting to know the amazing people who will guide you on your journey.

A Peek Into the Future

One of the best parts of transition week is getting a sneak peek at what next year will look like. From exploring new classrooms to trying out different subjects, it’s a chance to dip your toes into the future without the pressure of full-on school mode. You get to see what’s coming and it’s usually more exciting than you imagined!

Meeting New Teachers

Meeting your new teachers can feel a bit like opening a mystery box you’re not quite sure what to expect, but there’s always something great inside. Transition week gives you the chance to break the ice, learn about their teaching style, and start building those all-important relationships. You might even discover that your new teacher shares your love of space, football, or baking!

Making Connections

It’s also a time to reconnect with friends and meet new classmates. Group activities, team challenges, and fun icebreakers help everyone feel included and part of the class. You might find a new best friend or discover someone who loves the same books or games as you.

We hope you have a well-deserved rest this weekend as you all worked so hard!!
