Friday 25th April

Please complete any outstanding tasks set for you on SATs Companion by Tuesday and chose some additional tasks to complete based on topics you need to revise in preparation for our SATs tests in a couple of weeks. Make sure you know our spelling words for this week and are ready for our quiz on Monday. This week's words are: incredible, legible, horrible, responsible, terrible, forcible, visible, sensible, possible, reversible.
Remember to read every day and record your reading in your reading diary. These will be checked on Monday.
Make sure you watch Newsround over the weekend and be ready to write about a news story that has interested you.
Annie: This week we have started our new Power of Reading book called 'The Song From Somewhere Else'. We have been introduced to some of the main characters and have been exploring the opening theme of the book - bullying.
Chase: In RE this week week have had our first lesson in a series focussed on learning about Buddism. We were given the challenge of building a shelter for a lego minifigure that would withstand a storm (electric fan). We could use spaghetti, blu tac, paper and paperclips. We discussed our own places of refuge and talked about how Buddists look to Buddah in times of need.
Sonny: In Maths we have been revising how to use a protractor.
