Talk Homework: Please bring in some junk modelling materials for Monday next week.

This week was also transition week. We got to meet our new teachers for Year 4. Mrs Farmer and Mrs Wall are our teachers. Mrs Farmer's class will be called Silver Birch and Mrs Wall's class will be called Walnut.

In transition week we have enjoyed writing our letters about what we would like to do next year. We also made Silver Birch or Walnut trees for the different seasons. In maths this week we made 3D shapes with spaghetti sticks and marshmallows.

At the end of the week we went back to our classes. In Rachel Carson, we have enjoyed learning about the storming of the Bastille in French.

We have also enjoyed science. We made a track on the playground and used a mirror to follow it. We were learning about reflections.

We have enjoyed doing dodge ball in PE with Miss Lizell. Some of us enjoyed getting people out of the game.

We have enjoyed using the laptops to practice Nessy and play TTrockstars. We have also made clocks on the tables to help us tell time.

Have a lovely weekend,

Rachel Carson
