In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 19th January

Please complete the four tasks set for you on SATs Companion by next Wednesday. Remember to read for 20 minutes every day, with at least 3 sessions in the week reading aloud to an adult.

Ensure you can spell this week's spelling words, and are ready for our quiz on Monday: smoulder, mould, thrown, blown, window, shallow, poultry, shoulder, known, soul.

Annabelle: This week in English we have been planning and drafting an argument piece of writing debating the issue of whether Rudyard Kipling's 'Just So Stories' still have a place in modern society.  We had a debate earlier in the week which really helped me with my writing.

Aiden:  I have really enjoyed learning Algebra in Maths this week, even though some of the questions we faced were really challenging!

Freddie:  I enjoyed Gymnastics this week when we learnt a new conditioning phrase and then transferred new balances and ways of travelling onto the apparatus.  This week we added parallel bars and a mini trampoline to our stations.
