In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 26th April

This week we have continued with our revision for our upcoming SATs assessments - the children are working hard and applying their knowledge well when answering practice questions.  At home, please complete the 4 tasks set for you on SATs Companion by next Wednesday.  Remember to read every day for a minimum of 20 minutes, with 3 of these sessions reading aloud to an adult.  Make sure you know your spellings ready for the quiz on Monday: responsibly, possibly, horribly, visibly, incredibly, sensibly, reversibly, terribly, forcibly, legibly.

Keira:  I really enjoyed poetry writing in English.  We have been exploring the theme of bullying and were asked to write a poem from the point of view of either a bully, a victim or a bystander.

Ida:  I enjoyed Art this week.  We have been sketching out human shapes thinking carefully about proportions.

Bella:  I enjoyed the challenges in Maths this week where we had to work out missing angles in triangles.
