Talk Homework: Can you tell your friends and family what infrastructure, innovation and industry is? Can you tell them about your innovative city design?

This week we have thoroughly enjoyed designing our innovative city, incorporating unique ideas within its infrastructure, innovation and industry, reflective of our current SDG. This design has informed our English lessons where we have been looking at persuasive writing features and planning a letter to the council persuading them to invest in our proposed city development. In maths, we have been developing our fluency on addition using column method with exchanging. In history, we have research a variety of Greek inventions and discussed their impact on both the lives of those living during the Greek era and our lives today. Some key Greek inventions included the water clock, astrolabe, odometer and a crane. In art, we developed our Greek pot sketching skills to represent 3D effect to our design. In RE, we have learnt about Grace and enjoyed writing our own blessing as a class. In science, we have been testing materials suitability for a toy racetrack ramp comparing a newspaper surface and a silky fabric surface- ask us about our findings! Today we enjoyed a GenR8 production about The Christmas Story... the festivities have officially begun!

Hope you have a great weekend.
