Friday 6th December

Talk Homework: Learn your lines for the play.

Well, it's certainly getting Christmassy in Whitlock class. Freya has enjoyed learning the songs for our play next week. Freya particularly likes the Innkeeper's Tango. Now, in French we can count up to 31!  Mihai is a great teacher! In English Ella has liked writing a newspaper report about The Lonely Beast being spotted in the park. Teddie though it was fun to pretend to be a reporter and ask people for quotes.  Joshua is excited to perform the play next week because next week we will perform to a real audience. In maths Tom has loved the challenge of completing maths quizzes. Today there was a surprise for everyone after lunch. There was a big Elf sitting on top of the board staring at us! He is called 'E for Effort Elf' and up until Christmas if a child has shown lots of effort at school they will get to take him home for the night. Matilda has enjoyed a dress rehearsal, when everybody had a costume and they all looked amazing. We haven't forgotten how important our handwriting is and Lucie wrote beautifully this morning.

Today we planted an apple tree for Green Day. We know how important it is to plant as many trees as possible to keep our planet going!

Have a great weekend

Whitlock Class.
