Talk Homework: Explain how fossils are made.

Please ensure you read daily for a minimum of 15-20 minutes.

Dear All,

This week has flown by and we can’t believe there is only one more week until half term. The children have settled in so well.

This week, in Maths, we have been learning column addition and subtraction with regrouping. We have worked so hard and are beginning to make real progress in our learning.

To help support their learning, please find a list of additional activities should they wish to complete:

Abacus - The children can access this resource via the website https://www.activelearnprimary.co.uk

In English, we have continued with the theme of poetry and the children have really impressed me with their ability to understand figurative language. We tied this in with a lovely art lesson on blackberries. Yummy!

In Science, we are studying how fossils are formed and the children now have an understanding of the process. Hopefully, they will be able to tell you all for their talk homework.

We have also been learning about Education this term. We have learned about Education in Britain and France. We have also looked at how education has developed over the centuries, including both Victorian Education and Education in The Middle Ages.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend.
