This week we have been making fact files about Isambard Kingdom Brunel. He was a famous engineer who built ships, tunnels, railways and bridges. His first job was digging a tunnel under the river Thames with his father. He made the Great Eastern. The Great Eastern could hold 4000 people or 10,000 soldiers. He built the S.S Great Britain. Brunel died after too much hard work and worry in 1859.

Today we have enjoyed finishing sewing our bookmarks.

We liked doing some maths colour by number during wet plays (there were a lot this week).

We have been designing our own type of trains which are eco-friendly.

We have enjoyed arithmetic, using the laptops for TTrockstars and doing fluent in five.

Have a great weekend,
