In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 1st October

Talk Homework:  Talk to someone about all you have learned about the Kenyan school.  What is their school day like compared to yours?

Please try to remember to bring in a contribution for our Harvest Assembly on Monday.

Archie enjoyed our PE challenge where we had to work in teams to build a shelter using cardboard boxes, cloths and metre rulers.  We were pleased with our communication but some people need to work to include all members of the team.

Faye has enjoyed looking at much larger numbers in Maths and she particularly liked drawing the numbers on a number because it was really challenging.

In English, we performed a bit of drama where one person was an angel and one person was a devil, sitting on Bradley’s shoulders and trying to convince him what to do.  Isaac really taking part in this activity.

Louis loved our Art session where we began to sketch our ideas for our collage work, comparing our school with a school in Kenya.

We were all really inspired when David visited our classroom.  It was lovely to hear about how he helped Lavender and Sam to set up their school in Kenya.  Here is a link, so you can find out about the school too.

Stan S had an idea that we could perhaps have a Kenyan school day and try to raise money for the Kenyan school.  Watch this space…!
