SCIENCE WEEK

What a great Science Week we have had, below tells you all about the fun things that we have done.

On Monday, we had Biology lessons all about plants, we had a challenge to create a plant using only paper, we created venus fly traps, roses, sunflowers and spider plants. We chose a winner for the challenge and Greta and Finley won.

On Tuesday, we had a chemistry lesson about plastics. We made plastic from vinegar and milk, it was amazing to see the milk split to leave the curds, which we used to make the plastic. We also went into the Science Dome and learnt all about Volcanoes

On Wednesday, we had our Physics lesson, we planned an investigation to determine if the distance of the light source effected the size of the shadow.

On Thursday, our investigation was all about the bounce of different balls looking at how the material of the ball effects the bounce.

On Friday, we celebrated all our learning in Science week, talking about our favourite things from the week.
