Talk Homework: Find out about an endangered species

Today in Global Learning, we have been learning about endangered species to tell everyone to not kill rare animals. We used fact cards and laptops to find facts about endangered animals. We will be making fact cards to put around the school to tell everybody what we have learned about endangered animals and why they are endangered.

In P.E. today, we combined our English and P.E. together. we followed instructions to make a dance to accompany our new book. In Zeraffa Giraffa the sails of a felucca moved in three ways. They moved elegantly, sea-sawed and by pivoting. We moved just like the sails did!

In arithmetic we have been writing the number sentences to go with arrays. In maths we made model bar charts out of blocks. We drew the chart on our whiteboards.

In science we have been making newspaper pots and setting up an investigation to see if a seed will grow in a pot that represents desertification! We are comparing to a good soil too.

Have a lovely weekend
