Talk Homework: Explain how sounds are made and how they travel. How can some sounds be louder or quieter than others.

In maths we have been learning how to use a place value grid to divide and multiply by 10 and 100. We know that it’s more than just adding or taking away zeros. Some people even managed to work out how to do 56÷100.

In English we have been writing a diary based on The Iron Man. We pretended to be Hogarth, or his mum, dad or little sister.

In science we have continued to learn about sound. We did an experiment to see what materials would be better for making ear defenders and block sound. (You may want to find out what materials are good from your children before they start their talk homework.)

Our Learner of the Week this week is Maya.
