In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Mathletics has been set.

In global learning we went outside to collect some leaves and sketch the leaves in our art books with pastels in the style of Henri Rousseau.

In PE we have started learning to play football, in the first lesson we practised turning and keeping the ball in a certain area.

In English we have started a new book called Mama Miti. In groups of 4 we made a powerpoint to share to the class about Kenya because the story is set there.

In maths we have been studying multiplication and factor pair. A factor pair is a pair of numbers which make a number by being multiplied together.

In science we have been learning about living things and their habitats. The main habitat we are focusing on is the rain forest. We have already learnt that there are lots of animals in the rain forest. Yesterday each pair had an animal and had to find out facts about it to share with the class.

Our learner of the week is Freya.
