Today, we had a brilliant career talk from Lucas's Dad, Mr Sadler-Merino, who inspired the children with his experience as a rocket scientist. The pupils had lots of questions related to Mars, life in our solar system and getting rockets into space. 

In English, they've written descriptive setting descriptions of Mars and a factfile about our focus scientist Maggie Aderin-Pocock. In Maths, we've continued with decimals and our PIXL assessments – next week we'll be reviewing money. 

Milligan class has a brilliant art session on Monday whereby they all built their collages, with some incredible results and efforts. Due to some confusion about our 'switch days', Wordsworth class was unable to do their art project on Monday as too many of them were without their materials. They will be building their collages on Tuesday next week, so if they have supplies they wanted to use please encourage them to bring them in on Monday so that they have them for Tuesday.
