We'd like to say a huge thank you to all parents who came to see the show, supported the children with outfits and to the children for all their hard work. The show received rave reviews from adults and children alike – it was wonderful to see the pupils' efforts to improve their intonation and stage presence resulted in a brilliant comedy performance. Well done all.
This week, Year 5 have also finished their piece of World War II persuasive writing and are beginning to develop a balanced argument for and against fast fashion. In Math and Science, we've been exploring line graphs and two-way tables as well as beginning our compulsory PSHE/Science unit on the human lifecycle and puberty.
Next week, we'll be starting our unit on geometry and using protractors to measure angles. We'll also start to design our Batik, which will later be applied to our tote bags. Pupils can start to bring in old, plain t-shirts (ideally white) to dye after next week.
Enjoy your weekend.
