Friday 14th November

Please continue to read with your child and log on Boomreader every day.

The children have brought home their new spelling sheet this week. These are to be handed back in on Monday 17th November. Please can you ensure that their homework is named. - Unhappiness, unaware, unimpressed, unhelpful, unafraid, unlucky, uncommon

Children also need to spend at least 10 minutes a day on doodle maths or doodle tables. The children will also find that they have an assignment to complete.

This week in school we continued to read our new Power of Reading book, thinking about characters' feelings and using our inference skills to make a judgement about characters in the book.

The children have worked hard on understanding measures in maths and converting between m, cm and mm.

In science, children have carried out an investigation into frictional forces. The children discussed variables and fair testing.

In french the children have continued to learn about vegetables and in computing we have started to think about coding and flowcharts.
