This week, many of our Year 6 children experienced taster days at Hinchingbrooke.  It was wonderful to hear about what they had been getting up to in their new form groups, their experiences of travelling on the bus, what tasty food there was to buy in the food court and the new friendships they had made.

This week, there is no homework set on SATs Companion. Instead, for those moving to Hinchingbrooke in September, please start to create your shoe box (containing items which represent yourself) which you will be taking with you in your first few days in September.  Please also find attached the 'Get Ahead' Booklet which details work for you to do over the summer.  We suggest you spread this work out, and this week, why not complete the English tasks ready to hand to your new teacher in September.  For those children not attending Hinchingbrooke School, please complete any transition work you may have been given and continue to read for 20 minutes each day.
