Please ensure that you are logging all reading with your child on Boomreader, if there are any words or sounds they struggle with add these so we can help them within their learning.

Please ensure that your child does their Doodlemaths, an assignment will be added every Friday for them to complete, we are able to analyse any gaps they have and address this within our learning. 

Phonics check

Next week we have the phonics screening check and myself and Miss Murkett will be out of class in the mornings while we deliver this. Please make sure that you are doing reading with your children at home so they are best prepared. 

This week we have done lots of extra phonics games and activities to support the children and they are really motivated and have been doing really well. 

In maths this week we have continued to look at money and the children have been adding 1p, 2p, 5p and 10p coins together as well as doing some problem solving and reasoning questions. They are really familiar with money and are very confident when answering questions!

In Science we looked at how different animals moved. We began by role-playing as different animals and then came up with some sentences to describe how they moved. We looked at why different animals move different ways and compared this.
