Welcome to our first Year 4/5 weekly blog!

The children in all three classes have settled in well to their new routines and timetables.  Thank you to parents and carers for your continued support with equipment and their enthusiasm. 

We have been learning about space this week - ask us about the eight planets and some of their key features.

Homework:

Spellings - to be handed in on Mondays and tested on Monday

Doodle - 45 minutes per week

SPaP - to be handed in on Wednesday and marked within the lesson

Reading - daily  -  listening to your child read and reading to them is highly beneficial to their understanding and increases their vocabulary.

Spellings Y4 - magically, usually, sarcastically, worriedly, sparkly, happily, logically, gratefully, dramatically, directly

Spelling Y5 - delicious, conscious, ferocious, malicious, spacious, atrocious, luscious, gracious, precious, suspicious.

Key Dates - Monday 5th October - Harvest Church volunteers needed and food donation for church,
