    • Remember to read for a minimum of 20 minutes a day with 3 of these sessions reading aloud to an adult.
    • Make sure you know your spellings from this week and are ready for our quiz on Monday.  The words this week are:  according, dictionary, awkward, familiar, conscious, individual, profession, neighbour, system, sacrifice.
    • Log into Doodle Maths for 10 minutes a day in order to keep your arithmetic skills sharp!
    • Please make sure you confirm (on Arbor) that your child will be coming to sing at our Upper School Carol Concert on Thursday 18th December in Church.  We are organising places for the children next week at our rehearsal and also ordering mulled wine and mince pies for after the concert.  Confirmation that your child will be attending this event would be much appreciated.

Seb:  This week I really enjoyed learning about the role that boats played in WW1.  We have started to use the information we have learnt to write a newspaper article about the sinking of The Lusitania.

Lola:  I enjoyed Art this week.  We have been making posters on the themes of 'united' and 'unique'.  This week we painted our backgrounds and screen printed the words.

Ivy:  In PE today we have learnt more steps to our Charleston dance.  I found it lots of fun!
