Home work- Read Big Cat reading book at least 3 times and record on Boom Reader.

If you have offered help on our walk next Tuesday we thank you and look forward to seeing you at 9am at the front entrance.

This weeks phonic sounds are h, b, f and l and the tricky word is 'the'. The children's oral blending is really improving. This week we started to spell words- mum, red, dog, ten and kid in our writing books as well as writing the daily grapheme.

In maths, we have continued to work on subitising- seeing a quantity immediately up to 5 without needing to count.

In Science/ English we read non fiction, lift the flap book about Bodies. The children met Mr Boney, our school skeleton and talked about what is under your skin. We made our own big diagrams and labelled the parts.

In French, we have learnt the word Au revoir to add to our salutations.

In PE, we combined the star, straight and tuck shapes to make a sequence which we then performed on the benches.

Hard to believe we are nearly a half term done already!!!
