In English this week we have been looking at the book '10 things I can do to help my world'. We took this idea and changed it to school. We have been looking at how we can help our environment at school and made a lift the flap page for our own book.

Maths:

We have been practising addition. We have looked at how adding involves 2 or more groups and you combine all the groups to find a total. We have looked at how the part, part, whole model can help us to add.

Other:

We have been walking. We are now tracking our laps to try and win the sports captains award. We have a target to walk to Sofia, capital of Bulgaria by the end of the year. (JW)

We have been looking at teddy bears as part of our new topic 'Toys@. We made an observational drawing of our teddy bear in our sketch books (ET)

We now have new guided reading books (MB)

With Mrs Mayes we have been looking at how to keep safe on a computer (AP)

In RE we have been looking at Christmas, baby Jesus and what Christmas means to Christians.
