Talk homework: Talk to your adults what you've learnt about Tudor people.
Phonics sounds this week: ure, ai, air, ear.
In Maths this week we have looked at using our number bonds to 10 to help us with addition to 20. For example if we know 7+3=10 we know 17 + 3 = 20.
In English we have loved reading more of Claude in the City. We looked at newspapers and planned and wrote a report on when Claude saved the day!
In Global Learning we continued to look at Tudors and learnt about Henry VIIII. Ask us to tell you some facts about him. We know that one of his 6 wives lived at Buckden Towers and we made connections from the visit we took there last week. Next we looked at Tudor buildings and houses. We know the buildings at the towers have patterns using burnt bricks and we planned our own patterns using lego. We also looked at the correct way to build walls and how to join the bricks together.
In Mind Up this week we focussed on mindful listening - a skill we are still practising!
In RE we are learning about Hinduism. We focussed on Ganesh this week and looked at how Hindu's worship and celebrate him.
