This week we have started a new project. It is called Going Green. We’re not going to tell you much about it… yet!

We’ve been learning about Isambard Kingdom Brunel and we’ve written a non-chronological report about him. We also practised editing our work. We need to make sure that:

1 – Does it makes sense?

2 – did we use the correct punctuation.

3 – Can we make it more good?

4 – Are the speelings correct?

Today we (and the rest of the school) planted trees on the field! Everyone had a go at digging the hole and planting bulbs.

We also had a visit from a man called Mr Davies who had a lot of model trains. He let us see models of steam trains that we’ve been learning about and also taught us how pistons work (he did this by letting balloons blow around the room).
