Our first week back has been really busy. We have started a new book in English, which is called Zeraffa Giraffa. We started to debate if sending the baby giraffe to the King of France was a good idea. In Global Learning we have started to think about how if people are all treated the same. In maths we have been learning about fractions of shapes and fractions of an amount. We can work out half of 16 and a quarter of 12. We also know how to colour a half and a quarter of a shape. If 4 children have to run around a running track and each child has to run the same distance how much of the track must each child run around? We have started a new spelling rule looking at the words, camel, squirrel, travel, towel etc.
