It's been a strange day for all us. I would just like to say how lovely all of your children are and that it is a pleasure to spend my days with them. Unfortunately circumstances have changed and the coming weeks will be very different. It would be great if whilst at home they can continue to learn as best they can. They have promised me that they will write a couple of sentences everyday to keep their handwriting looking lovely. Also they said they would play some maths games to practise their times tables. Below is list of websites and ideas of activities the children can do. I hope you enjoy this extra time you have together.

Role play a story to develop vocabulary and imagination.
Share books and retell the story afterwards, discuss the characters and ask questions about what happened.

Play board games to develop turn taking and practice maths skills.
