Year 6 have had a brilliant week - Mrs Masters said we've worked so hard.  On Thursday, we wrote our 'Just So' stories which we have been planning all week.  We spent lots of time developing our descriptive phrases and using alliteration and repetition, just like Rudyard Kipling.

In Maths, we revised our knowledge of 3D shapes by making them out of marshmallows and spaghetti.  We got very messy but it was lots of fun.

In Global Learning, we are finding out about the Ancient Egyptians and why the River Nile was so important to them.  We began researching about how they carried out mummification - and will be writing about this as instructions next week.

We all enjoyed our Friday PE with Lizell when we got to play 5-a-side.
