So much fun has been had learning the story of the Gunpowder Plot. The children have been acting it out using role play masks and we even built a Guy to put on our bonfire. Today we took the instruments out to play and sing camp fire songs. 

We made beautiful sparklers to help us trace the digit formations 0-10. We have counted firework bangs and created firework dances to 1812 Overture counting the number of repetitions of each move.

In art we created our own tools to make marks with paint to make firework shapes. We have also been making circle and spiral shapes to develop our pencil control.
