We have had a busy and fun week back at school.

We started the week with our Topic Day, and we focused on our Sustainable Development Goal - the importance of clear water and sanitation for all.  In class, we tried to filter dirty water to make it as clean as possible. Outside, we carried tyres so we could experience what it would be like to carry fresh water every day.  

In English, we started our new Power of Reading book - Oliver and the Seawigs - and we have already discovered Oliver's personality and background.

In Maths, we are delving into the 9 times table and practising it using our hands.

Talk Homework - explain how to count the 9 times tables on your fingers.
