    • Students Rebuild: The Extraordinary Earth Project 2024

      Your art matters!

This year, we will be joining students from around the world in using our art to make a difference and protect our planet. Although global environmental issues like climate change affect us all, different parts of the world are impacted in diverse ways. The goal is for our students to continue to be thoughtful about how our actions affect both the ecosystems in our backyard and the planet.

For every piece of environmental art submitted to the project, The Benzo Family Foundation will donate $5 to an organisation focused on tackling the effects of climate change.

Year 6 will be designing and making their own environmental activist posters, inspired by Shepard Fairey, this half-term and next term Year 5 will be making willow sculptures that highlight the threats of plastic pollution.

Whilst your child will be contributing to this project in school this year, if they want to create a piece of art at home about environmental issues they're passionate about please have them drop it with Mrs Schmidt so it can be submitted.

We will be keeping an eye on our running total as a school to see how much impact our art can have.
