In Topic we have been learning about 17 Sustainable Development Goals to help make the world a better place. We have been specifically learning about life in the rainforest. We have seen how plants and animals there are interdependent – which means they all rely on each other to survive.

We have also looked at a few pictures by Henri Rousseau who painted a lot of jungle scenes (though he never actually saw a real life jungle!). We have copied his style by taking a few leaves, arranging them how we think they look good (even if it’s not realistic) and then copying them.

In English we have started a new book set in Kenya. Each table has made a PowerPoint to do with Kenya and all groups learned about something different which they taught to the rest of the class.
