The Year 1 and 3 Play is called Rockpool.

Here is the synopsis of the play:

‘Rock Pool’ first and foremost, is a story about friendship, determination, acceptance and community. Its ecological themes are there for all to see, but as part of a lovely wider story. 

We have been learning about the structure of flowers and pollination. This week the children have crafted some cross-sections of flowers showing the different components, including stigmas and filaments.

Year 3 had a visit from Father David as part of our RE module on Gospel. He looked at and talked about a regular day in his diary. He discussed why and how he became a minister. He spoke about discernment, calling, courage, his training at Cambridge and becoming a deacon and priest. His job is to be a curer of souls in our parish. We are thankful to Father David for giving his time, and he is an important part of our school team.
