This week in phonics we learned the phonemes e, u and r and the digraph ck. We read the book Kim Cat in shared reading. In maths we have learnt about AB patterns. In Art we've been practising mixing colours using powder paint and making rainbows. In PE, we've continued practising moving our bodies in different ways in gymnastics and holding balances. In RE, we've learnt that Muslims believe Allah is a VIP and they whisper his name into the ears of newborn babies as the beginning of a prayer and blessing. This led to us discussing our names and why our parents gave us our names and how they are special to our families. In English, we practised writing labels and labelled the parts of our houses that we can see from the outside. Have a lovely weekend!
