This week we introduced our new half-term topic -- Around the World in 34 Days. We're going to learn about the different continents and some countries, too. If you would like to share your experience of living in or being from a different country, we would be delighted for you to come speak with the children. In maths we've been exploring spatial reasoning, manipulating shapes in different ways to create different shapes or pictures.

In science, we needed to build a foil boat to float a jelly baby to safety.

In English we read a poem from Benjamin Zephaniah's collection of poems, We Are Britain.

In Art, we learnt to use perspective to draw a picture of a cityscape.

We did phonics assessments this week, so your child will have their most recent assessment in their reading folder.
