This week the children have been undertaking PIXL diagnostic assessments which provide the tools to diagnose pupils’ gaps and benchmark against thousands of pupils across the PiXL partnership. Being part of PiXL also provides the children with a huge bank of resources and proven strategies to address any barriers.

During Art, we learnt about 3D shapes and two-dimensional (2D) objects. 2D is an object that only has two dimensions, such as a length and a width, and no thickness or height. A three-dimensional (3D) object is an object with three dimensions: a length, a width, and a height. The children used pencil and shading to draw a sphere with a shadow. Everyone received a positive point for a great effort and excellent work.

In rugby, Year 3 took part in a tag tournament to practise their skills for the school tournament next week. The children showed great passing skills and team work. Please ensure that your child has their sports kits next week.
